Mary Lynn is a Colorado native and an experienced public sector attorney, having worked her entire legal career representing local government and state agency clients. During law school, Mary Lynn clerked for Windholz & Associates, where she discovered her love for municipal law. Upon admittance to the Colorado Bar in 2008, she joined Williamson & Hayashi, LLC, where her practice focused on sales and use tax litigation, appellate practice, land use and development, zoning, nuisance enforcement, public contracts, liquor licensing and prosecution, legislation and ordinance drafting, open meetings, public records, and counseling local government clients on a multitude of legal issues.
In 2014, Mary Lynn moved to Anchorage, Alaska, where she worked as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Alaska. She represented state agencies, boards, and commissions in administrative hearings and in state trial and appellate courts, and advised state officials and agencies on a wide variety of matters, including municipal law, trust land management, campaign finance regulation, property taxation, open meetings, public records, grant program administration, rural energy project financing, regulations and legislation drafting, and more.
In June 2019, Mary Lynn returned to Williamson & Hayashi, LLC (now Hayashi & Macsalka, LLC). She is the City Attorney for the City of Lafayette, and also represents and advises the Towns of Severance and Firestone, and the Cities of Federal Heights and Sheridan. Mary Lynn thoroughly enjoys collaborating with local public servants on the wide variety of legal issues unique to local government. She genuinely sees herself as part of each client's "team" and she is committed to serving the staff and officials who have dedicated their careers to public service.
Outside of work, Mary Lynn likes to get outside with her husband and four children, sharing with them all of the reasons she loved growing up in Colorado.

Bill began his law career in the municipal law practice area, first as a law clerk for the City of Broomfield, then as an associate attorney at Windholz & Associates from December 1987 and February 2008, when Bill joined Dave Williamson in forming Williamson and Hayashi, LLC. Bill is presently the City Attorney for the cities of Federal Heights and Sheridan and town attorney for Town of Firestone. Other current and past clients include: Assistant City Attorney for the Cities of Golden and Lafayette; Edgewater; Special Counsel for Estes Park Urban Renewal Authority; Municipal Prosecutor for the Cities of Broomfield, Edgewater, and Golden; Special Counsel to Commerce City (Personnel); Federal Heights (Codification); Westminster (Prosecutor); Broomfield (Liquor Prosecution); Federal Heights (Prosecutor); and Longmont (Board of Adjustment).

Scott began his legal career as a transactional attorney in private practice, becoming a partner in a large firm in Florida. Along the way, Scott’s practice expanded into litigation, including business litigation. More recently, Scott was an Assistant County Attorney for a large urban county government in Florida for approximately nine (9) years. As Assistant County Attorney he handled real estate and other related transactional matters including preparation of a wide variety of real estate documents. He also was lead counsel on eminent domain matters involving the acquisition of parcels for various major county road improvement projects. In addition, he served as the County’s legal representative on multi-jurisdictional commuter rail and high-speed rail projects. While at the County he also gained experience in election law matters, was a member of the County Canvassing Board, handled stormwater drainage matters and rendered advice concerning open meetings issues and public records requests.
Outside of work Scott enjoys spending time with his wife and three (3) grown sons. He is also an active road biker, tennis player, hiker and skier. Scott’s middle son is a double-CU Boulder graduate and is a licensed P.E. in Colorado.

Kristen DeWolf, Office Administrator
Kristen grew up nearby and is passionate about all things Colorado. She is currently pursuing her MBA through Colorado State University and is enjoying being part of the team. Outside of work and school, she can be found playing soccer, going on hikes with her dog, or playing games with friends and family.
